Hi Everyone,
I saw Perry Hanavan, Aud’s webinar last week on using your smartphone as an ALD and it was really interesting. I don’t know how many of you saw it but if you didn’t, it was impressive and I thought I would share my notes with you. You can also see the webinar on the main HLAA website.
Hi Friends:
Please consider running for the Steering Committee. It is not hard or tons of work to participate. You would not be overwhelmed. The rest of us are always here to help if you have questions or concerns! We’d love to be able to work with new people and get a new perspective on SC issues.

Dave Myer’s article — in the original he gave credit to all of the individuals and groups across the country who have been involved in the Looping movement — the WSJ cut those 300 words. Still—it’s progress — and public education on hearing loss.
Alan’s Memorial
In the fall of 2015 we lost a dear member of our group, Alan Klink. Alan and his sweet spirit touched us all. We will miss him and are grateful for the time we had with him.
Hi all,
We had a great meeting on Saturday, a full house with a very knowledgeable speaker from the House Institute. I think a few of us are going to be making appointments to see Suzannah in the near future!
August 2015 Meeting Transcripts I got from Jane from our Saturday meeting.
See you all in September; don’t forget we have our elections!

Hi Friends!
Hope you’re staying cool in these sweaty dog days of summer.
Believe it or not, summer is flying by and it’s time to start thinking about this year’s Steering Committee elections. They will take place at our September chapter meeting. We are so excited about this election. We encourage anyone interested in getting more involved with our chapter to think of nominating yourself! Or if you prefer, let somebody else nominate you instead. You must be a paid HLAA National member in order to vote in the election, as well as to serve on the SC.
