HLAA-LA Garage Sale – April 16!
Our Annual HLAA-LA garage sale is right around the corner. This year our garage sale will be held at the home of Joe and Lisa Beth Snyder in Altadena. This fundraiser is one of our biggest efforts as we try to raise $1000 that goes toward the cost of captioning our meetings. At the end of the sale, any unsold items are always donated to charity.
We are still in need of donations and encourage our members to bring their “treasures” to the March meeting so they can either be given to Joe or Lisa Beth or dropped off at the Snyder’s home, which is 10 minutes from the Hear Center. All donations should be sorted as best as possible (children’s clothes with children’s clothes, shoes with shoes, etc.). This will be a tremendous help for those who will be setting up the morning of the sale.
We are also still in need of volunteers, people who will set up, straighten up, break down and load the charity truck.
