Walk4Hearing Long Beach 2026 Recap: LA Stars Shine Bright!

On May 31, 2026, the Long Beach Walk4Hearing enjoyed great energy and success as hundreds gathered for the event. Hosted as part of the nationwide effort by HLAA to support people with hearing loss, the event was a major success—both in participation and fundraising.

This year’s Walk was especially meaningful for the Los Angeles chapter as our “LA Stars” was the top fundraising team!

LA Stars Team Raises Over $11,000

The LA Stars made an incredible contribution by raising over $11,000 in support of hearing health awareness, education, and resources. A big thank you to Frank Bryant and Wendi Washington as our top donor and fundraiser respectively.

Total Raised: $11K+
Team Members: 23 participants
Community Impact: Supporting hearing care programs nationwide AND our chapter.

Each step taken and each dollar raised helps expand various hearing programs and provides the chapter the opportunity to continue our outreach, scholarship program, and events.

A Big Turnout in Long Beach

The Walk4Hearing Long Beach event drew hundreds of participants, including families, advocates, healthcare professionals, and supporters of the hearing loss community.

Attendees experienced:

A welcoming, inclusive atmosphere
Opportunities to connect with others living with hearing loss
A 5K walk through the beautiful Shoreline park area to meet and mingle with others

The turnout demonstrated a growing awareness and commitment to supporting individuals with hearing challenges.
