Our 2017 Annual Holiday Party

Hi follow chapter members and friends!

’Tis the season for our HLAA-LA fun-filled Holiday Party! Thank you so much for our amazing Grace for hosting it. You won’t want to miss the fun and a chance to catch up with friends. The festivities starts at 7PM, Saturday December 9th.

A) We’d like a head count and what food or drink item you’ll be bringing. On our Yahoo Groups page, we will track RSVPs and food so please let us know if you are coming, how many people and what you would like to bring. We would like for you to bring appetizers, side dishes, desserts and/or drinks to share. Please note, Mitzi will be bringing roast turkey and the chapter will be providing a honey-baked ham!

B) We really need your help! Are you willing to stay after to help clean up? The party starts at 7PM but we’ll really need help afterwards with cleaning up (feel free to come a little early to help set up as needed). We are trying not to overload a few people and our host so we’ll track this on our Yahoo Groups page as well.

C) Fun Awards! As an added twist, we will be presenting some fun awards to various chapter members within notable areas during the past year. You’ll have to show up to find out more!

D) White Elephant Gift Exchange. Spectacular Super Secret Santa Danny Tubbs will be handing out the gifts. If you want to participate just bring a wrapped gift per person playing. These gifts can be new or used, cool, funny, weird or awesome. It’s up to you! Danny will explain the game better, but STEALING OF GIFTS IS ENCOURAGED. Believe me, you don’t want to pass on the gift exchange! It’s one of the hilarious highlights!

WHERE IS THIS GREAT PARTY?

Phew. Hope I got everything, if not just ask us! The LA Chapter hopes you can make our shindig part of your holiday tradition. But whether we see you or not and however you celebrate, we wish you and yours a joyous season!
