Below, you will find the transcript from Saturday’s meeting. It was from a captioner we haven’t had before and I’ve never worked with a text file before, so I’m hoping one of these formats will be usable for you. Let me know if you have any problems opening it or reading it.
At the link below, please find the transcript from the April 25th meeting. Sorry for the delay; it took some special handling to get the captions from the Power Point presentation (but what a bonus that was for us at the meeting!).
I’m starting to advertise the next meeting early because it is VERY special!
1) First we have an amazing speaker in Richard Ray, he is ADA Compliance Coordinator for the City of LA.
Please see the link below to review the transcript from our March 2015 chapter meeting.
It’s that time again! Our next meeting is THIS Saturday March 28th. We have a terrific meeting planned. Hope most of you can make it.

Hi everyone. Click here to see the February newsletter.
Hope to see many of you at the February 28th chapter meeting. We will have a rap session on the stigma of hearing loss. We hope it will be a lively discussion!
As always, we’ll have coffee and refreshments, and the meeting will be captioned and looped.
Have a great week and see you Saturday!
Meeting transcripts, thanks to Jane, from our January 2015 meeting.
It’s been a long time since we got together, we sure hope to see a lot of you on the 24th.
We are starting the new year with a bang. The first part of the meeting will be a presentation about looping by Kase Martis on behalf of the Loop LA campaign. Loop LA’s mission is to obtain equal access for individuals with hearing loss by promoting the usage of hearing loop technology. The California Communications Access Foundation funded a similar movement (Loop Santa Barbara) which resulted in over 40 new hearing loops in the region: http://www.looplosangeles.org/
